The special MINI model is unveiled at the Motor Show, has been designed to celebrate MINI’s remarkable achievement in motorsport. Limited to only 65 units. This special edition 1965 Victory Edition represents a new version of the high-performance electric John Cooper Works Electric which was inspired from the MINI classic, was driven by Timo Mäkinen and Paul Easter, winners of the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally.

The 1965 Victory Edition features a range of distinctive design elements created to honor MINI’s legendary victory in Monaco. It begins with an eye-catching Chili Red body, complemented by white racing stripes running along the length of the vehicle, paired with white mirror caps. A white “52” graphic is from the race number used by the original MINI classic appears on both sides of the vehicle along with a “1965” decal on the C-pillar. The model is further equipped with 18-inch JCW Mastery Spoke alloy wheels in black enhanced with floating center caps and JCW-branded valve caps to emphasize its sporty character.

While opening the doors, the lower door sills are detailed with a white “1965” graphic set against a red-and-black background which is enhancing the car’s bold motorsport character. The inner door panels also feature a plaque displaying the name of the original vehicle along with the two drivers, Mäkinen–Easter.

Inside the cabin, the interior is finished entirely in a black-and-red color scheme, complemented by exclusive details unique to this edition such as These the “1965” marking on the steering wheel at the 6 o’clock position and on the storage compartment of the front seats while the vehicle key is also adorned with the number “52.”

On the performance, this model lives up to the legacy of the original MINI, powered by an electric motor delivering up to 190 kilowatt / 258 horsepower, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds. The price has not yet been officially announced.
