The 1.2-liter 3-cylinder DOHC 12-valve engine, compatible with gasoline and gasohol fuels ranging from 91 and 95 to E20, functions as a power generator to charge the battery via the generator and inverter. It offers convenience without requiring any change in driving behavior.

Nissan’s e-Pedal Step system enhances driving enjoyment by allowing drivers to accelerate and decelerate using only the accelerator pedal. When the foot is lifted from the accelerator, the vehicle instantly decelerates to a minimum of approximately 5 km/h, allowing for confident control when cornering, going down slopes, or navigating speed bumps. This system is activated when Sport or ECO driving modes are selected. Furthermore, the system regenerative braking helps recharge the battery during deceleration, suspension, brakes, and steering.
