The key highlight from Hyundai at this event is the launch of the Hyundai all-new SANTA FE Hybrid with HTRAC All Wheel Drive, a premium hybrid SUV equipped with HTRAC All Wheel Drive (AWD), an automatic all-wheel-drive system that adapts to road conditions. This is Hyundai’s proprietary technology, further developed from the front-wheel-drive (2WD) model introduced in Thailand last year. The new variant, named “Inspiration,” comes with a comprehensive infotainment system, along with a BOSE™ sound system with an external amplifier and 12 speakers, delivering a refined in-cabin audio experience. It also features newly designed 20-inch alloy wheels, a new exterior color “Stormy Sea,” and a new interior color “Pecan Brown,” enhancing the distinctiveness and character of the model. The vehicle is officially launched at a price of THB 1,799,000.
In terms of exterior and interior design, the model stands out with its distinctive boxy SUV design, reflecting a strong and modern image. The cabin is spacious and luxurious, featuring second-row captain seats with easy access to the third row. It also offers a large luggage capacity and a dual sunroof with two electrically operated panels, enhancing openness and comfort throughout the journey.
The all-new SANTA FE Hybrid with HTRAC All Wheel Drive is powered by a 1.6 Turbo Parallel Hybrid system, working in combination with an electric motor and a 1.49 kWh lithium-ion polymer battery. It delivers a maximum output of 232 hp at 5,600 rpm and a maximum torque of 367 Nm at 1,000–4,100 rpm, with fuel efficiency of up to 17.86 km/l. It is equipped with a Shift-by-Wire transmission, allowing for convenient and intuitive gear changes with a simple twist, without taking eyes off the road, while also freeing up space in the center console for a more open and comfortable layout. Confidence is further enhanced with Hyundai SmartSense, featuring up to 13 advanced safety systems, making it one of the most comprehensive safety packages in its class.
