FORTHING unveils the FRIDAY, a new-generation SUV built on the latest platform from Dongfeng Forthing, at the 47th Bangkok International Motor Show 2026. Positioned as a value-driven SUV, the model combines advanced electrified powertrains with features tailored specifically for Thai drivers and families.

The FORTHING FRIDAY is available in both battery electric (BEV) and range-extended electric (REEV) variants. The BEV version is equipped with a large battery capacity of up to 85.9 kWh, delivering a driving range of up to 630 kilometers under CLTC standards. Meanwhile, the REEV variant features a 1.5-liter engine acting as a generator, enabling a total driving range of over 1,100 kilometers, providing flexibility for both daily commuting and long-distance travel.

The vehicle is equipped with an intelligent ADAS system that has been specially tuned to match Thai driving behavior, enhancing safety and confidence on the road. In addition, improvements in body strength and water-wading capability ensure reliable performance in tropical weather conditions, particularly during heavy rain.
