The new BMW i5 eDrive40 M Sport is a luxury executive sedan assembled locally at BMW Group Manufacturing Thailand’s plant in Rayong. It introduces advanced technical innovation with the first-time use of silicon carbide (SiC) semiconductor components in its power electronics system. This technology enhances energy efficiency across the vehicle’s electrical systems, resulting in an extended driving range of up to 45 kilometers. The new i5 now delivers a maximum driving range of up to 627 kilometers (WLTP).

In addition to its upgraded electronic systems, the new BMW i5 eDrive40 M Sport comes standard with the AC Charging Professional package, supporting alternating current (AC) charging at up to 22 kW at compatible charging stations or at home.

The vehicle delivers a dynamic rear-wheel-drive experience, powered by an electric motor producing a maximum output of 250 kW / 340 hp and 400 Nm of torque. When Sport Boost or Launch Control is activated, maximum torque increases to 430 Nm. The car accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 6.0 seconds and reaches a top speed of 193 km/h.

Precision and driving stability are further enhanced by the Adaptive Suspension Professional system, which is fitted as standard.
