Lexus highlights the new IS 300h at the 47th Bangkok International Motor Show 2026, a refined sports sedan developed for drivers who seek dynamic performance combined with distinctive design. Under the concept “Refined Rebellion,” the model embodies a bold, unconventional character while maintaining a premium and sophisticated presence.
The exterior has been comprehensively redesigned, featuring updated front and rear bumpers, a new front grille, and a refreshed rear emblem with the LEXUS lettering. Inside, the cabin has been upgraded with a newly designed dashboard and premium Forge Bamboo trim, enhancing the sense of craftsmanship and luxury. The interior also features a 12.3-inch full digital MID instrument cluster, alongside a 12.3-inch central touchscreen display, complemented by a wireless charging system for added convenience.
Driving performance and handling have been further refined through adjustments to the suspension system, including recalibrated shock absorbers and spring stiffness for both front and rear. The electric power steering ratio has also been optimized, along with an enlarged steering shaft, delivering improved control and responsiveness. The model is equipped with an Electric Control Brake (ECB) system, enhancing braking precision and stability.
Safety has been elevated with the latest Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 (LSS+ 3.0), which includes enhanced features such as All-Speed Adaptive Cruise Control capable of operating down to a complete stop, an upgraded Pre-Collision System (PCS), and Lane Tracing Assist (LTA), ensuring greater confidence and protection on the road.
The IS 300h is powered by a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine producing 181 horsepower and 221 Nm of torque, working in combination with a Permanent Magnet Synchronous electric motor delivering 143 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque. Together, the hybrid system generates a combined output of 223 horsepower. The vehicle is equipped with a 230V Ni-MH battery consisting of 192 cells and complies with EURO 6 emissions standards, with CO₂ emissions rated at 122 g/km.
