The TOYOTA LAND CRUISER FJ is developed under the concept “PLAYFUL DICE,” combining “fun” with “functionality” in perfect balance. Its chamfered square body design, along with shorter front and rear overhangs, gives the Land Cruiser FJ a distinctive, rugged, and iconic appearance. At the same time, this design enhances approach and departure angles, improving its ability to handle steep terrains and making it capable of confidently tackling all types of driving conditions.

In terms of dimensions, the overall length is 185 mm shorter than the Fortuner, and the wheelbase is 170 mm shorter. This compact size results in a tighter turning radius, offering greater agility and sharper handling. It allows drivers to maintain confidence in all situations while delivering a new driving experience that truly enhances the fun within the Land Cruiser family.

The interior design retains the signature “horizontal layout” of the Land Cruiser, enabling intuitive operation and easy control of various functions. Additionally, with a lower window line and a more upright A-pillar design, it provides excellent visibility in all driving conditions.

In terms of performance, it stays true to the authentic Land Cruiser spirit. The vehicle is built on the proven IMV chassis platform, further reinforced and tuned to meet Land Cruiser standards. It is powered by a 2.7-liter gasoline engine producing a maximum of 166 horsepower at 5,200 rpm and 245 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission with Sequential Shift, a part-time 4WD system, and a rear differential lock. The claimed average fuel consumption is 9.4 km/l (ECO Sticker), and it supports fuel up to E20, complying with EURO 6 standards.
